To keep our specialized knowledge fresh, each member of the Frida Travel team travels to all our destinations for at least a month each year checking on old favorites, inspecting new properties and meeting with managers and guides. It is important to us to experience first-hand each of our destinations, so the activities, guided excursions, restaurants and much more can be personally recommended.

We will ensure that care is taken to match every aspect and detail of your itinerary from the beginning to the end. Since we work with excellent lodges, guides and local ground fixers in all our destinations, you will always have someone locally based to go to if you have any questions. However, we know that even though double and triple checking of details and situations can be outside of our and your control: flight delays, the impact of weather, or just your own personal preference to make changes on your trip, mean there are reasons you will need to contact the Frida Travel team. Our office number is answered 24/7 and the senior management team monitors this service as well as email traffic at all times. There is also alternative means of communication with your travel consultant such as WhatsApp or Message for a more personal and prompt approach. We offer flexibility and want to ensure as you go on your holiday that you have the confidence that you are backed up by our team of experts.

We welcome your involvement in the planning and will give you suggestions along the way. Safety comes first when a guest travels with Frida Travel. Because many trips are dealing with complex destinations, involving multiple elements of a trip and in surroundings, you need to know what you are doing or be with an experienced professional. This is obvious with some of the more adventurous trips we arrange such as diving, skiing or mountain climbing. But the same goes for traveling in a foreign city or driving yourself through a new country. We will not suggest an experience where a guest would be at unnecessary risk and we will not arrange something that we are uncomfortable with. Our experienced team know the challenges of dealing with problems on the ground and as working as hotel managers and guides, we know where to respect a warning sign and to take action. This idea is just as applicable to planning a trip as it is to delivering the experience while you are away. As we are not medical professionals and can not give full medical advice per destination, we can guide you in the right direction to get professional advice. However, we can give you our opinion and our guidance based on our own levels of expertise for the different destinations we specialize in.
